For this Thanksgiving I am going down to my hometown Chicago. I’m so excited. I am absolutely in love with that city. We go there and meet with 30+ family members at a restaurant. It’s so nice to see everyone at once. It’s really crazy when it comes to seeing how different everyone looks. It’s also insane to see your little cousins growing up, ect. Most of my family members live in Chicago and thats where I’m going to move back when I’m 18. (: <3

Well it has defiantly been a fun time in here. I like how independent we get to be in this class. He gives us a assignment and then we complete it. The rest of our time is free time to complete anything thats due, or to explore on our computers/lap tops. I’ve learned a lot about internet safety in this class. Mr. Moore is always cautious about what we put on our blogs, ect. I can definatly use animoto, blogging, wiki, ect in my other subjects for the next 4 years, and when I go to collage.

I think this is such an awesome idea! It shows how easy it REALLY is to bring everyone together. This idea is obviously a great learning opportunity. I personally would have a blast being able to learn about other cutlers. I’ve always been into differences like that. I’m sure most of the student body is. I hope we can do something like this here.

I think that Grand Ledge needs to get everything straight. Especially before they make any huge budget cuts. Maybe we should balance everything out first. Then we can equally divide the money to first priority to last. I’m sure there are a couple of things we have spent out money on that can easily be cut out. But that my opinion.

I don’t believe that creating a rule about uniforms would help the positivity in schools what so ever. I went to a private school for two years in second and third grade. It was just another thing for kids to complain about the school. Schools always tell us to be ourselves. Which is great unless you’re being hypocritical and telling all of us to look the same. So I personally believe, the less restrictions on clothing [uniform wise] the better.

I chose this picture because I think I’m very adventurous and outgoing. I love to chill with my friends. I have a great social life. I love to hang out at night time the best though. Especially just walking around, or going to the mall or movies. It’s just a lot of fun to live your life day by day. (:

If I was President for a day, I would change so many laws. I think certain laws are either over strict or not enough. I would defiantly change a lot of ways that the less unfortunate live. I don’t believe that actresses, models, singers, ect should make more then cops, firefighters, ect because they are just entertainment while the other professions are risking their lives. I would probably make peace with a lot more countries and get more alliances. That way there is less wars that we will have to deal with.

Life is pretty good in middle school. It does get really stressful if you fall behind in your school work or if you get involved in drama. But if you can get all that straight, then life will be really good. I have enjoyed my time here at Hayes. I’ve only been here since the start of this school year, but it’s been real tight. Some challenges I have had at Hayes is trying to balance out my priorities  between social life and school life. I seem to choose my social life before my school work life. I have learned that I shouldn’t let my grades slip because it is hard to get them back up. I have a lot of knowledge from my school success.

My brother in-law is an umpire. He loves his job but you definatly have to have a very strong personality and able to take personal/emotional hits. He’s had a lot of incidents being an umpire where people have got all up in his face. He doesn’t take it at all. I don’t think I would like to be an umpire because I don’t have the patients to deal with all of the calls that you have to call. Because on each call you make, there is going to be one side un-happy about it. But I do love baseball.

I’m  Kodie. (”  I love to chill with all of my friends 24/7. I have a couple best friends. Their names are Alisha, Jacquelyn, Izzy, ect. I love sports. My favorite sport is football. My favorite NFL team is the Chicago Bears. My favorite stores are Hollister, American Eagle, Wet Seal, Pac Sun, and Deb. I like all type of music except for country and classical. I’m a good hip-hop dancer. I’m not close with my family, except for my sister’s ex-boyfriend of six years. I’m the closest with him because I can talk to him about anything and everything. My favorite pop is coke.
